very good company 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟its no secret trustpilot has been doing shady stuff for years.. every business owner and reviewer knows it.. almost nobody actually trusts them or depends on them at this point. the only reason they are still in business is because google keeps ranking them stupidly high. if google wasnt propping them up, i genuinely dont think anyone would still use them.. Heres the thing, when someone googles your brand, trustpilot has a very real chance of showing up naturally. so as a business owner it makes total sense to want a good presence there. and that's exactly how they keep getting people onto their platform despite everything.

Intuitive UI, Seamless ATS Integration, and Reliable Performance

What they like: The user interface has received consistent updates throughout the last year. It is now very intuitive and easy to access the data most important to my organization. The integration with our ATS has worked seamlessly and has not experienced any downtime. Performance is consistent across the board. I can rely on reports being run quickly and communication with myself and candidates arriving promptly. Pricing is fair. We have partnered with Checkr for over 6 years. In that time, we've negotiated mutually beneficial agreements that have allowed our platform to grow and scale with our revenue and operational needs. Now that Checkr has expanded its account servicing team, I enjoy quick access to my account manager and engage in routine meetings to discuss product advancements, performance, and trends. At this time, I have not had enough interactions with Checkr's AI services to accurately rate them. However, I am aware of how they intend to use AI to increase the reliability of reports and create a more engaging and flexible environment for both myself and candidates. What they dislike: Checkr is a consistently reliable product. Uptime is very predictable, and any service interruptions are quickly communicated with ongoing updates on fixes.

One of My Favorite Tools-- Never Lets Me Down!

I have absolutely loved Checkr since I started using them over five years ago. I'm immensely satisfied with their product offering! Pros: I love how seamlessly Checkr integrates with my ATS to make hiring and onboarding a breeze. They are so dependable. I trust them to keep our candidate personal data safe. They are so thorough in their searches, and I feel like the tool is super intuitive and easy to pick up and learn. We have only needed to use customer support a few times, but each time has been a very pleasant experience; their team is speedy, respectful, and super knowledgable. Their entire background check process is so easy for our internal team to initiate and manage, and also very quick and painless for our new hires. Cons: The only thing that I could possibly say about Checkr that counts as an area of improvement is that their international background checks can take up to two weeks or more. That has rarely happened, but it can get in the way of onboarding. This comes with the territory. Again, very, very rare.

As a job candidate, I found Checkrs process clear and easy to follow. The online portal made it simple to submit my informations,track the status and see when each step was completed.

Pros: Really easy to use. It can do a lot of different type of background verifications Fast turn around time. Its always accurate Integrates really well with our ATS. Cons: The email that goes out to our candidates sometimes ends up in Spam/Junk so email deliverability could be better.

Strong Implementation, easy to use system and Overall Ease of Product

Overall, since launching in August of 2024 it has been a great experience. Their team was there to assist with any/all questions I had from the implementation stage to post launch. It is easy for me to export data reports or use of their analytics tab, but then also easy for our support agents to use with reporting status' or knowing what may cause a review status to trigger. Communication to the external party is also very clear and their candidate portal is easy to use.

Overall the reports are neatly organized and easy to read. They have nice help files if needed and overall the site is tidy looking and easy to locate stuff. The area where people log in to see reports seems to keep the reports area separate from logging into the set up a background check area. Very nice clean simple.

Fast, Easy Volunteer Background Checks with Checkr

What they like: We use Checkr to run background checks on volunteers who serve on our Board, in our admin roles, and with our children's ministry. Our previous service was pricey and often took up to two weeks; Checkr is reasonably priced and we usually have results within hours. Initiating a check takes just a few minutes on our end, and it's very easy for the person being checked to authorize as well. We also love the variety of checks available. Highly recommend for churches and nonprofits that screen volunteers. What they dislike: Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about Checkr. I’ve used many different platforms over the years, and Checkr is by far the best and the easiest to use.

Top Choice for Background Screenings

I've used Checkr as an integrated background check partner with two HCM's and as a stand-alone when one system stopped supporting the integration. I believe it's the fastest and most user-friendly system and it comes at an affordable price. Checkr ensures all documentation is handled appropriately and provides background data quickly, supporting a smooth onboarding process regardless of integration. Pros: Checkr seamlessly integrates with our HCM system, providing a quick, easy, and efficient onboarding process. Cons: Prior to this integration, we were using Checkr as a standalone background check system and occasionally the checks would cost more than anticipated.

Process was quick, painless, and efficient. Definitely one of the easiest background checking procedures I've ever been through, and I would recommend it for anyone.

We moved to Checkr because they offer a better UI than other platforms we've used before, but most importantly better pricing and we haven't looked back!
