Anonymous but verified enterprise buyers rate Checkr 4.3 overall. Pricing gets called out in both directions: some say it beats every alternative they priced, others call it expensive but worth it. We moved to Checkr because they offer a better UI than other platforms we've used before, but most importantly better pricing and we haven't looked back! It's been fundamental in performing international criminal background checks for our customers. We have people in 70+ countries so a single solution for all of them has proven to be convenient!
Great communication and great product. Everything works exactly as we need it to and nothing is lacking. Price is very close to competitors whose products are not as robust.
Overall, since launching in August of 2024 it has been a great experience. Their team was there to assist with any/all questions I had from the implementation stage to post launch. It is easy for me to export data reports or use of their analytics tab, but then also easy for our support agents to use with reporting status' or knowing what may cause a review status to trigger. Communication to the external party is also very clear and their candidate portal is easy to use.
The Checkr platform is user-friendly which makes running and reviewing background checks straightforward and easy. The different nodes setup was very important for our organization and Checkr handled that very well! Customer service has also been great for the most part regarding the timeliness of responses and making any changes to our setup.
Checkr is pretty fast but is not always proven to be accurate. There has been consistent problems regarding the validity of the information received
My very first interaction with their customer support team was terrible, and I'm currently looking for a replacement.
